Rich and robust, notes of blackberry coulis, pepper and minerals aromatics. Tart blackberries and cranberries with a touch of dustiness in the mouth with full and weighty layered round tannins. Throw in a vibrant and dry finish, with lingering flavors of spicy raspberry candies. 2013 yielded an exceptional crop with concentrated flavors. 80% Zinfandel 10% Petite Sirah 10% Carignane. It's elegant Zinfandel that remains true to its rustic roots. 

Grown on the hillsides of the Bernier-Sibary ranch in northern Dry Creek valley. Dry farmed vines lovingly cared for deliver focused fruit and a long lasting tannic structure. It was fermented in open topped tanks and fermentation bins for 7-14 days with frequent punch downs in primary fermentation and secondary ML fermentation in barrels.  Racked 4 times over 2 years, egg white fined and aged in neutral French oak. Best to enjoy from 2016 to 2023.
