2015 Hopkins Ranch Pinot Noir

Cherry minerality as usual, mellow oak (40% new French oak). Slightly (in a good way) salty with lively acidity. Bursting with cranberries, this is an old-school California Pinot. With its five spice notes and a hint of nutmeg, we'd call it a perfect turkey dinner accompaniment. Homemade whipped cream and strawberries on the nose blossom into white cherry in the mouth. Has a long finish and is subtle and smooth. Fun to drink now and built to age. All from Hopkins Ranch, ‘Swan’ clone Pinot, in the heart of the Russian River Valley.
