One thing's for sure, you can't say we follow the pack when it comes to making S.B. Try as we may, we haven't found another California S.B. like this. The nose is a hybrid of New Zealand and CA, the minerality is French. It's crisp and dry but not simple. Barrel fermented in neutral oak and aged sur lees for six months, a few years of bottle age will only make it more complex.
